Its BioMaterials segment develops, produces, and sells speciality cellulose used as a raw material in the production of cellulose ethers, cellulose acetate, and other specialty products, as well as cellulose fibrils for industrial applications. The Fine Chemicals segment supplies fine chemical intermediates for contrast agents and advanced bioethanol. The company was incorporated in 2012 and is headquartered in Sarpsborg, Norway.
