The Enterprise segment provides mobile services to enterprise customers; fixed-line communications services, such as data communications and fixed-line telephone services; cloud, global, AI/IOT, and other solution services; software-defined connected vehicles solutions; cloud, security operation monitoring, and IoT solutions; Linux/OSS; and authentication and security services. The Distribution segment offers products and services addressing ICT; cloud services, IoT solutions, and other services for enterprise customers; and mobile and PC peripherals, including accessories, as well as software, IoT products, and other items. The Media & EC segment provides media-related services, such as media and advertising, search, marketing solutions, vertical, content, and stamps; commerce-related services, including shopping services; reuse services; food delivery services; O2O services; and AI, healthcare, and other services. The Financial segment offers mobile payments and other electronic payment, online securities brokerage services, and payment processing services. This segment also engages credit card; and banking business. It also engages in the planning and production of digital media and content. The company was formerly known as SoftBank Mobile Corp. and changed its name to SoftBank Corp. in May 2015. SoftBank Corp. was incorporated in 1986 and is headquartered in Minato, Japan.
